TITAN Connection Method

Preface

This document briefly introduces the TITAN connection method, helping users quickly understand how to establish connections correctly and efficiently.

Connection method

USB and Ethernet connection

Due to the Titan series being equipped with a WiFi board and utilizing an integrated transmission architecture, its connection mechanism differs from other series: whether connecting via USB or Ethernet, it must be achieved through an IP address. Therefore, its USB connection logic differs from the direct connection mode of conventional models.

1. First, connect the laser machine and PC with the USB or Ethernet cable that is provided with the machine.

Regarding the USB connection method, please pay attention to the operating sequence: the USB cable must be plugged in first, and then the machine power must be turned on. If the order is reversed (power on first and then plug in the USB cable), the machine will not be able to recognize the device, resulting in connection failure.

2. Then find the IP address of your machine on the touch panel.

3. Configure the computer.

Go to Start >> Control Panel >> Network and Sharing Center, configure the connection for local connection, like below.

4. Configure the software.

In LaserMaker:

Step 1: Click "Switch" to enter the "Device Manager" interface.	Step 2: Click "Create" to create the device.

Step 3: Select the device brand and device series.	Step 4: Enter the TCP/IP address of the device, and click "Test" to check whether the IP address exists.

Step 5: Enter the device name.	Step 6: Click "Finished" to complete the creation of the device.

In RDWorks:

WIFI connection

To connect via Wi-Fi, you need to ensure that both the device and your computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

1. On the touch panel, navigate to the network settings and confirm that the WiFi connection is established.

Step 1: Select Internet from the Menu on the panel.	Step 2: Enable the WiFi function and enter the WiFi settings interface.

Step 3: In the WiFi list, locate and select the network you wish to connect to, and you can view its IP address on this screen.	Step 4: Please select a Wi-Fi network on your computer that is on the same network as the device.

2. Configure the software.

In LaserMaker:

Step 1: Click "Switch" to enter the "Device Manager" interface.	Step 2: Click "Create" to create the device.

Step 3: Select the device brand and device series.	Step 4: Enter the TCP/IP address of the device, and click "Test" to check whether the IP address exists.

Step 5: Enter the device name.	Step 6: Click "Finished" to complete the creation of the device.
