How to Adjust the Sharpness of the TITAN Movable Camera

How to Adjust the Sharpness of the TITAN Movable Camera

Preface

The machine's camera was calibrated for clarity before leaving the factory. Recalibration is only necessary when the image is very blurry.

Tools Required

Cross-head screwdriver

Specific steps

  1. First, place a piece of paper or board with text on the honeycomb bed and perform autofocus. This will act as a reference for sharpness adjustment in subsequent steps.

  1. Next, open the right-side door of the machine, locate the movable camera cable connected to the Wi-Fi board, unplug it, and connect the cable directly to your computer.

  1. Launch the built-in camera software on your computer. All subsequent adjustments will be based on the camera's live feed.

NotesIf your computer does not have built-in camera software, you can find the amcap2a software in the path Titan Series >> Calibration file for camera >> amcap2a on the U disk shipped with the machine.

  1. Detach the movable camera from its mounting position on the side of the laser head.

Loosen the screws on the movable camera by turning them counterclockwise, then remove the camera from its mounting bracket.

Next, take a cross-head screwdriver and loosen all the screws shown in the diagram before opening the camera cover.

  1. Loosen the camera's retaining ring, rotate the focus ring while monitoring the real-time image on your computer screen, and tighten the retaining ring firmly once the image is clear.

  1. Put the camera cover back on, then reattach the movable camera to its original position on the laser head side.

  1. Finally, reconnect the movable camera cable to its corresponding port on the Wi-Fi board.
