Preface: Mainly used to check the beam path of the Thunder Bolt.
1.Stick masking paper or double-sided tape in front of the third mirror to concave a circle.
2.The Alignment screen can be accessed from the MENU section of the Bolt Laser Touch Screen.
3.Once you have accessed the Alignment screen, you will see the options listed below:
Pulse button:
The Pulse is used to fire the laser based on the mode (Pulse Time or Continuous) for the amount of Pulse Time set and the Power Level set.
Pulse Time button:
This section is where you select to enable Pulse Time duration mode and assign the time. 100ms is a good starting point for the pulse. You can lower it if the pulse is burning through the tape, raise it if the pulse is not marking the tape well enough. When not selected, the Pulse button will operate in a continuous mode to where the machine will pulse continuously while the Pulse button is pressed.
Red dot pointer button:
This option allows you to turn the Red dot on and off to make it easier to see the burn spot and so that you can ignore the Red dot during the alignment process.
Power button:
This section is where you set the pulse Power. 20% is a good starting point.
Position button:
These buttons are used to move the Laser Head to pre-determined positions on the machine. Make sure there are not any obstructions on the bed. These buttons allow for repeatable positioning as you perform an alignment.
4.Turn off Pulse time and Red dot pointer>>Set 20% Power>> Move to each corner>>Click Pulse button and check the beam path.
NOTE:We recommend using a new piece of masking tape/double sided tape after moving to the new corner.
