Connecting A Thunder Laser To Laser Maker Via USB and Ethernet
Preface
This guide explains how to connect your Thunder Laser machine to the Laser Maker software using a USB or Ethernet cable.
TITAN Connection Method
1. Preparation
- USB cable
- Ethernet cable
- Computer
2. Connection method
USB connection(Nova & Nova Plus Series, Bolt Series) | Ethernet connection(Nova & Nova Plus Series, Bolt Series) |
Method 1: USB Connection
- Physical Connection: Connect your computer to the machine using the USB cable.
- Check Port: Open Windows Device Manager and locate the assigned USB COM port.
- Configure the software
Step 1: Click the "Switch" to enter the "Device Manager" interface. | Step 2: Click the "Create" to create the device. |
Step 3: Select the device brand and device series | Step 4: Select the correct COM port. |
Step 5: Enter the device name | Step 6: Click "Finished" to complete the creation of the device. |
- Connection Successful: The bottom right corner of the software will now display "Connected", indicating successful communication.
Method 2: Ethernet Connection
- Physical Connection: Connect your computer to the machine using the Ethernet cable.
- Network Setup: Go to Windows Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center (to configure your PC's IP address to match the machine's network segment).

In Laser Maker:
Step 1: Click the "Switch" to enter the "Device Manager" interface. | Step 2: Click the "Create" to create the device. |
Step 3: Select the device brand and device series | Step 4: Enter the TCP/IP address of the device, and click "Test" to check whether the IP address exists. |
Step 5: Enter the device name | Step 6: Click "Finished" to complete the creation of the device. |
- Connection Successful: The bottom right corner of the software will now display "Connected", indicating successful communication.
