Aurora won't turn on

Aurora won't turn on

Preface:

If the machine still won't start after turning on the key switch and the e-stop button,

please follow the instructions below to troubleshoot and deal with it.

The following inspection methods require a multimeter, and the following video gives you a good introduction to the use of a multimeter.

Reasons:

The circuit breaker has tripped

Before starting the inspection, make sure the machine is connected to an AC110V/220V power outlet and the power outlet switch is turned on.

It is located on the circuit board above the machine.

Solution:
Switch the
circuit breaker to the ON.

The main port or key switch has a failure

Main Port

Solution:

  1. Set the gear to AC as follows.

  2. Please use a multimeter to measure the voltage of L1 and N1 and check for AC 110/220V.

  3. Check what is displayed on the multimeter.
    a. If AC110/220V is not displayed, the Main Port is damaged.

    b. If DC 110/220V will be displayed, the Main Port is good.
Please go to the Key Switch part.

Key Switch

Solution:

  1. Set the gear to resistance as follows

  2. Open the work table and remove it.
Remove by unlocking the four screws.

  3. Unplug the main cable, switch the key switch to ON, and use a multimeter to measure L1 and L1, N1 and N1 respectively.
The main cable must be unplugged first, so pay attention to electricity safety.

  4. Check what is displayed on the multimeter.
    a.
If one of the two wires displays ".OL", the Key Switch is broken.

    b. If all the wires display "0.000" or a number, it proves that the main cable is good.

It damaged the 24V switch power supply or 24V electrical equipment.

The 24V switching power supply is located on the circuit board above the machine, on the lower level of the circuit board.

Check the status of the indicator light above the 24V switch.

Solution:
a. 24V electrical equipment is damaged.
Check if the 24V switch power indicator is blinking, if yes please contact us;
If not, please go next step.

b. 24V power switch supply is damaged.
Use the multimeter to check for DC24V output. If DC24V is not available, go to the next step.

Then use the multimeter to check for 220/110V power input.

If there is AC220/110V here, but no DC24V, this proves that the 24V switch power supply is damaged.
