Problem description:

You can not see a red dot comes out from laser head.

Reasons:

1. The red dot pointer is off

Locate on the Red Dot Pointer Mount in the rear of the machine, and check if the Red Dot Pointer is off, like below. 

Solution:

Please open the lower left hand door panel, find the connector for the red dot and check if it's connected well, like below. If still no red dot, maybe the red dot pointer is faulty. Please contact us:tech@thunderlaser.com

2. The red dot pointer is not aligned

Open the laser tube cover and you can see the red dot pointer, it means you need to adjust the beam path of red dot poniter.

Solution:

① Move the laser head on the middle of the working table.

② Place a square of masking tape over the left side of the third mirror carriage, and pulse a dot on the center(press pulse button on LCD panel), like below.  But please pay attention to laser radiation.

③ Use the three adjustment screws on the Red Dot Pointer Mount to move red dot to the mark dot on the tape, like below.
