Troubleshooting Guide for LaserMaker 2.0 License Key Activation Failure

Preface

This guide helps resolve license activation failures in LaserMaker 2.0. For persistent problems, contact support with your version and error details.

Phenomenon

When attempting to activate LaserMaker using the license key, a "License activation failed" prompt appears. It has been confirmed that the license key has neither been used nor disabled.


Reasons

  1. If the currently used LaserMaker is not the latest version, activation will fail. This is because the server only supports recognizing new-version license keys, while the legacy LaserMaker system is not compatible with the server's new interface and thus cannot identify such keys.
  2. Due to strict network restrictions in certain regions, activation requests cannot be received by the server.
  3. Unable to activate online.

Specific inspection steps

Reason 1

If your LaserMaker is not running the latest version, you can download the updated version from our official website (https://www.thunderlaser.com/downloads/).

Reason 2

We recommend enabling your mobile hotspot and attempting the activation process again.

Reason 3

Try using offline activation.

  1. First, enter the license, then generate the request for the offline activation file.
Notes

The "request offline activation file" has a 48-hour validity period. Ensure the offline activation process is completed within 48 hours; if the time elapses, the file must be regenerated.


  1. Then upload the offline activation file to the specified link. After processing, import the generated file into LaserMaker.

① Upload the generated offline activation file via the link (https://www.lasermaker.com.cn/Offline.php) and wait for the system to process and generate the new file.

Notes
Please note that this is the LaserMaker domestic website, which only handles offline activation files for overseas users. Please disregard other feature descriptions.

② Change the extension of the processed file to "txt".


③ Import the modified file into the LaserMaker system to complete the entire process.
