Replacing the Autofocus sensor for Bolt series

Damaged sensor.


Replacement steps

Bolt AutoFocus Probe Repair and Replacement

  1. Turn off the machine.


  2. Preparing a tweezers and new sensor for replacement.


  3. Unlock the two set screws counterclockwise and remove the focus lens.


  4. Unlock the autofocus touch post counterclockwise and remove the old one.


    Note: If the small black nut on the right is not damaged, then no need to replace it.

  5. Use the tweezers to place the nut as shown below into the groove of the laser head.


     Reinstall the autofocus touch post clockwise.
     

  1. Reinstalling the focusing lens.
  2. Enter the diagnostic interface to check if the autofocus function is working properly.
    Steps to open the diagnostic screen: Click the Menu>>Diagnostics>>Check the Autofocus
    When the autofocus probe is triggered, The red light will be on.
