How to use the Vacuum Adsorption (Hold-down) Function

How to use the Vacuum Adsorption (Hold-down) Function

Preface

Enabling this mode closes the top exhaust valve to increase the suction from the bottom exhaust. On that basis, by increasing the coverage rate to over 95%, the Adsorption Platform function is an application that enhances the vacuum hold-down effect of the material on the honeycomb bed.

Specific step

  1. Locate the 'Start Adsorption Platform' option on the touch panel and turn it to 'Open'. (In this mode, it closes the top exhaust valve and boosts the suction from the bottom exhaust. )

  1. When using the Vacuum adsorption platform function, the honeycomb bed is supposed to be covered at least 95%, the higher the better. This concentrates the negative pressure under the workpiece and improves suction, allowing the material to stay flat and stable during engraving or cutting.

You may use different cover materials depending on the type of material or project being processed. Here are 3 examples for your reference:

  1. Mask unused areas with film or tape (consumable):

Here is a reference video for this application: https://youtu.be/qDr8FNZXZaI

  1. Place a plywood sheet cut to the exact working size, and use it as a jig for your project:

  1. Customize a perforated (wooden) plate with small holes.

3.After placing the material, click 'AF' to perform autofocus, then click 'Origin' to set the origin, confirm that there is no collision risk with 'Frame', close the lid cover, and click 'Start-Pause' to start processing.

4.If the Adsorption Platform function is not in use, please turn off the 'vacuum adsorption platform' function on the touch panel and remove the (auxiliary) material from the platform.
