How to Use the Pass-Through Door for Aurora Series

How to Use the Pass-Through Door for Aurora Series

For longer objects, such as golf clubs, you can use the pass-through door for marking.

You need to bypass the safety door when using the pass-through feature, allowing the machine to mark with the door open.

In doing so, you accept all liability and release Thunder Laser from any issue that may arise from the bypass. You also agree to wear the proper PPE when bypassing the Aurora Machine Safety Doors. Doing the Safety Door bypass is at your own risk.
Only the Aurora V2.0 is equipped with a pass-through door.

Detailed Steps

1. Remove the Cover

Remove the screws on both sides of the door cover.

2. Bypass the Safety Door

a. Using the control panel.

Press the "ON" and "Door" buttons for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and the start button light flashes red.

If you want to enable the safety door again, please reboot the machine or press both buttons again for 5 seconds.

b. Bypass by changing settings

In LightBurn

  1. Click the Device Setting button.
  2. For Ports and Laser Setting, set the Door Protect to "High"

If you want to enable the safety door again, please set the Door Protect to "Low" to re-enable the Safety Door.

In EzCad2

  1. Click the Param(F3) button.
  2. For Port, set the Door IO to "High".

If you want to enable the safety door again, please set the Door IO to "Low" to re-enable the Safety Door.

In EzCad3

  1. Click the Param(F3) button.
  2. For Port, set the Active low Level to "True".

If you want to enable the safety door again, please set the Door IO to "Low" to re-enable the Safety Door.

End.
