How to Change the Name of the Titan Movable Camera

How to Change the Name of the Titan Movable Camera

Preface

If the Camera cannot communicate with the machine after power-on, you can use the camera preview function to check whether the camera is recognized correctly. If the camera name is incorrect, follow the instructions below to change the camera name.

NotesThe software used in this procedure does not have an English interface. Please pay close attention to the Chinese text on the buttons and menus. Follow the red boxes highlighted in the screenshots to make sure the correct options are selected.

Camera Types, Naming Standards, and Applicable Models

Before changing the camera name, please refer to the tables below to identify your camera type, standard name, applicable machine models, and camera brand.

Important Notes

  • When programming a Kingcent camera, the camera name is automatically changed:
    • For Nova Plus 51/63, the camera name will automatically become CameraLeft.
    • For Titan 51, since it doesn't need to change the camera orientation, the camera name remains "Camera".
  • Some large-format machines continue to use Kingcent lenses because the Hampo standard lens provides lower accuracy when used with LightBurn for lid-open camera applications.
  • Kingcent cameras are not compatible with macOS. Therefore, some customers using Mac computers may report that the camera function does not work.
  • The camera name may not strictly follow the naming standards above according to different batches. The important requirement is that multiple cameras installed on the same machine must have different names.
  • If multiple cameras on the same machine have the same name, it may affect camera recognition and camera functions. In this case, rename the cameras so that each camera has a unique name.

For the Titan Movable Camera: The standard values for both iProduct and DeviceName should be Camera-Movable.

Complete Guide for Hampo Camera Renaming:

Step 1: Connect the Movable Camera to Your Computer
