Focusing Instructions for the Aurora Series

Detail steps

  1. Place the object under the Auto Focus Red Light.

  2. Press the AF button, and the Galvo will automatically adjust. You'll hear a beep once the autofocus is complete.

Aurora Lite Series

Dual Red Light Focus

  1. Make sure the Red Light Pointer is on.


  2. Press the Z button and wait for the two red dots to merge into one. Once they have combined, the focus is completed.


    For transparent and mirrored materials that cause light to penetrate or reflect, the Manual Focus tool is more appropriate.

Manual Focus Tool

  1. Find the Manual Focus Tool in the toolbag.


  2. Attach it to the holder.


  1. Press the Z button to move the Galvo until the focus tool touches the object.


Tips

For some transparent or mirrored materials, it is difficult to focus with the red dot beam,

It is recommended to cover a piece of flat, opaque paper over the transparent material for autofocus, as shown below.


And if you use a rotary, it is more appropriate to use the Dual Red Light Focus.
